15–20 minute CS2 aim routine
3–5 min · crosshair placement
Play slowly and make sure the crosshair reaches head level before you shoot. Kill count does not matter here; the first-shot starting position does.
5 min · AK or M4
Alternate controlled first shots with short bursts. If every duel becomes a long spray, lower the pace and rebuild accuracy.
3–5 min · pistols
USP, Glock and Deagle expose poor crosshair placement and bad movement timing because they give you less room to hide an inaccurate first shot.
3–5 min · match speed
Increase the tempo and chain targets. Finish on the weapon you plan to use in Premier, Competitive or FACEIT.
What to watch while you practice
Crosshair placement
Was the crosshair already close to the head when the opponent appeared, or did you need a large correction?
Shot timing
Are you clicking after the crosshair arrives, or firing by reflex while the aim is still moving?
Target transition
After a kill, do you recover to a useful position for the next duel or leave the crosshair on the previous target?
Build consistency before changing sensitivity
A comfortable sensitivity should let you make precise corrections while still turning when a fight demands it. For consistency, keep DPI and sensitivity stable for a meaningful period instead of changing them after every bad session.
Deathmatch is only one part of CS2 practice. Aim also interacts with movement, pre-aim, map knowledge, utility and decision making. Use this server for mechanical repetitions, then carry those mechanics into real rounds.
Useful 1v1.es training commands
Open the weapon menu with !gun or !weapon. Quick weapon commands include !ak, !m4, !awp, !usp, !glock and !deagle. Use !hs to toggle headshot-only mode for yourself.
